Miami University’s Premier Business Organization and Student-Led Venture Capital Fund

  • Passion is the only prerequisite to join RedHawk Ventures as all knowledge of venture capital and due diligence are taught through the New Member Education process.

    This 6 week comprehensive program allows members to develop insight and utilize resources surrounding the venture capital industry, RV’s current portfolio, and the funds due diligence processes.

  • Each semester, Miami affiliated pre-seed and seed-stage startups enter our pipeline, allowing student analysts to gain experience completing due diligence on real companies.

    All fund analysts work on diligence teams to analyze the companies that enter our pipeline, and provide a robust research thesis on the investment opportunity.

  • We recognize that we are not only investing in an idea, but we are betting on the management team.

    Ultimately, our goal is to make an educated determination as to whether the team is creating a disruptive business that will scale over time.

    We hope each investment leads to an exit with a 10x multiple. Then, we can continue to invest more capital into disruptive startups with Miami ties.
