RedHawk Ventures invested $25,000 in Nunona’s seed financing round in 2026.

Nunona is a New York-based maternal nutrition company founded in 2021. It makes organic, plant-based vitamin bites for pregnancy and postpartum. Its Mama Bites combine whole-food ingredients with nutrients in a convenient snack format.

Founder and CEO Krista Maas de Villiers started Nunona after working in infant nutrition and becoming a mother herself. The company focuses on nutrition during the first 1,000 days, from conception through age two, beginning with products for mothers. Nunona ranked No. 7 in Miami University’s 2025 RedHawk50, which recognizes fast-growing businesses founded or led by Miami alumni.
